If the imported session is deleted in Panopto before it has had a chance to be deleted in Zoom, then the recording will not be deleted in Zoom. Automatic Sharing: Share Zoom Meetings with participants : When this box is checked, and a Zoom meeting is imported, meeting participants with a Panopto account will automatically have the meeting shared with them.
For automatic sharing to work, meeting participants must sign in to your organization’s Zoom cloud site before the meeting. If they aren’t authenticated, Zoom doesn’t track the meeting participant’s ID and that information is unable to pass to Panopto.
